The National Testing Agency (NTA) has taken a significant step towards enhancing transparency and streamlining the registration process for NEET 2025 aspirants. 

In a public notice dated January 14, 2025, the NTA has announced the mandatory integration of APAAR-ID into the NEET 2025 registration process. It also included the guidelines and importance of updating Aadhaar Card for the registration process. These guidelines have been formed by the NTA based on instructions from the Department of Higher Education and Ministry of Education.

Registration Process for NEET 2025

According to the public notice issued by the NTA, the NEET 2025 registration process will begin soon. To guarantee a smooth application procedure, you should follow the guidelines given below.

Guidelines for the Registration Process

  • You should keep your Aadhaar updated with all the verified details such as name, date of birth, and correct spellings. 
  • The credentials on Aadhaar should be according to the Class 10 Marksheet/Passing Certificate. 
  • It should also contain updated facial recognition data.
  • Aadhaar Card should be linked to a valid mobile number for OTP-based authentication. 
  • APAAR-ID has to be used during the application and examination process.
  • For updating the Aadhaar Card, you can visit the nearest enrollment/update centre.
