Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) is a unique identification system designed by the Government of India for all Indian students. It is an initiative in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020.
APAAR is a platform for you to access all your credentials and achievements in one place. It acts as a lifelong academic passport.
APAAR-ID is not compulsory. You can register for this program to avail the benefits, but there is no legal obligation demanding its use.
The Ministry of Education ensures that all information stored on the APAAR-ID remains safe, reducing the risk of misuse. This data will be utilised only for educational purposes.
You can refer to the official APAAR brochure for details on APAAR-ID.
You can also refer to the official APAAR website by the Government of India for more information on the campaign.
