The National Testing Agency (NTA) is here to help, with some updates to make your registration experience as smooth as possible.

Some students have reported problems with Aadhaar authentication due to name mismatches between their Aadhaar Card and their class 10 certificate or mark sheet. This can happen when the names don’t perfectly align on both documents, leading to an authentication error. The NTA has noticed this, and to support applicants, they’ve introduced a few steps you can follow to resolve the issue easily.

1. Look Out for the Pop-Up Message: If you’re trying to confirm your name as per Aadhaar but see a pop-up error saying, "Name mismatch during Aadhaar Authentication" don’t worry. Just close this message by clicking the "X" in the corner.
2. Follow the Name Format on Your Aadhaar Card: After closing the pop-up, you’ll see a new window asking you to enter your name again. Here’s the key—type in your name exactly as it appears on your Aadhaar card. Make sure there’s no deviation in spelling, spaces, or format.
3. Both Names are Recorded: The application form will capture both the name from your Aadhaar card and the one from your Class 10 certificate. This helps the system recognise you, even if there are minor differences and lets you continue with the registration process.
