 FYJC admission 2023 for SSC Students

SSC students, now it’s your turn!

Start registering online for FYJC seats.  

No more long queues or multiple forms required. You can now easily apply for first-year junior college through the online portal for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) from the comfort of your home.

Here’s everything you need to know about the FYJC e-registration process.

Who can apply?

  • ICSE and CBSE students who have received their results
  • Students who are awaiting their SSC results can also register and have their forms verified. The first part of the form-filling and verification process will continue for two days after the SSC results are declared.

Where Can I Register for FYJC Admissions?

The official portal for e-registration for FYJC is 11thadmission.org.

Note: Since the results for CBSE and ICSE boards have been announced on May 12, 2023, and May 14, 2023, respectively, these students have already begun the admission process.

The online admission process for 11th grade in the specified areas of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) including Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad districts, as well as Pune, Pimpari-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation areas, Nagpur, Amravati, and Nashik Municipal Corporations, applies to all officially recognised Junior Colleges affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board. It is compulsory for all colleges to participate in the online admission process, as all admissions will be conducted exclusively through the online platform.

Tentative Admission Schedule Released by the Maharashtra Board

Before we get to the actual schedule, it’s important for you to know that prior to the release of the actual registration form, the Maharashtra Board gave counselling on the process of e-registration. The Board also released a Dummy Form-which was available on the official website from May 20, 2023 to May 24, 2023-for students to help them understand the online registration process better.

Seats as per quota reservation:

Community quota: 50%

In-house quota: 10%

Note: Students need to submit the required documents for quota reservation

Round 1 regularised by CAP

10 to 15 days

Round 2 regularised by CAP

7 to 9 days

Round 3 regularised by CAP

7 to 9 days

 CAP special round 1

7 to 9 days

Note: Reservation is not applied

CAP special round 2 (For ATKT students)

With every CAP round, quota-wise admission will take place simultaneously

  • Under the section “Choose Region to Apply”, select the region you want to apply for FYJC Following are the options available:
  1. Mumbai (MMR)
  2. Pune (PMC, PCMC)
  3. Nagpur (NMC)
  4. Nashik (NMC)
  5. Amravati(AMC)
  • Fill in the required personal details
  • Upload the necessary documents 
  • Submit the application form
