Rise and shine, Fellow JEE Advanced aspirants!
As you embark on your journey towards JEE Advanced 2025, it’s crucial to stay updated with the latest announcements. The Joint Admission Board (JAB) has recently rolled back a significant change to the eligibility criteria that every aspirant must note.
The JAB has restored the original limit of two attempts for the prestigious Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. This update overturns the earlier announcement, mentioned in a press release dated 5th November 2024, which had extended the attempt limit to three times over three consecutive years. Now, candidates can only appear for the exam twice in consecutive years, aligning with the long-standing eligibility standard prior to the recent revision.
This decision has implications for aspirants planning their preparation strategies. For instance, if you attempted JEE Advanced in 2023 or earlier, you will not be eligible to sit for the exam in 2025. This ensures a fair playing field for recent candidates while maintaining the rigorous standards of the examination.
Apart from this key change, all other eligibility criteria remain unchanged. To recap, candidates must secure a place among the top 2,50,000 rank holders in JEE Main 2025 and meet age requirements. Additionally, they must also have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination in either 2024 or 2025. This adjustment underscores the importance of maximising your efforts within the two permitted attempts. It’s a reminder to focus your energy and resources on thorough preparation during this limited window of opportunity.
Stay tuned to official notifications for any further updates. Meanwhile, gear up with a determined mindset, a structured study plan, and unwavering focus to ace JEE Advanced 2025. The journey might be tough, but with dedication and effort, you’ve got this! Wishing you the best of luck!
