The Centre has informed the Supreme Court of its decision to cancel the grace marks awarded to 1,563 candidates in the NEET-UG 2024 results. These students will now have two options:

Advocate Balaji, representing one of the petitioners, expressed satisfaction with the cancellation and retest proposal. However, concerns were raised by counsel Sai Deepak regarding students who did not approach the court but faced similar delays. Deepak highlighted that delays were reported at six examination centres and urged for a broader consideration for those affected.
