Hey there, NEET aspirants!
The NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) 2024 has been a topic of significant discussion following the controversy surrounding the initial results.
Now, after a thorough re-evaluation process, the revised results have been declared.
Here’s a detailed overview of what transpired and how candidates can access their updated scores.
Initially, the NEET 2024 results were announced on June 4, sparking controversy due to alleged discrepancies. Subsequently, protests and legal actions prompted the Supreme Court to order a re-test for 1563 candidates on June 23, 2024. Of these, 813 candidates appeared for the re-test.
The decision to conduct a re-test stemmed from concerns raised by students regarding the fairness of the initial results. The re-examination aimed to address these issues transparently, ensuring that all candidates received a fair assessment.
Following the re-test, provisional answer keys and scanned copies of OMR sheets were made available to candidates for verification. Challenges raised by candidates were duly examined by experts, leading to the finalisation of answer keys and the processing of results.
