The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the tentative exam schedule for the HSC (Std. 12) and SSC (Std. 10) examinations for the academic year 2024-2025.

For the academic year 2024-2025, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the tentative dates for the HSC and SSC examinations. Here’s a quick overview of the important dates:

These dates have been thoughtfully chosen to ensure that students have sufficient time to prepare for subsequent entrance exams and to streamline the admission process for the following academic year.
The Board’s decision to hold the exams 8 to 10 days earlier than usual aims to ease the pressure on students. By advancing the exam dates, the Board hopes to give students more time to prepare for competitive exams and plan their future academic pursuits. This change also allows for the timely execution of supplementary exams, which is crucial for students who may need to retake their exams or those seeking grade improvement.
No Offline Applications: Registration must be completed online. Offline applications will not be accepted.
Pre-Registration Preparation: Before starting your online registration for Std. 10 or 12, visit the school or junior college where you intend to sit the Board exams. Obtain the school's unique code, subject scheme, medium, branch (stream), and any other necessary details.
Standard 10: During registration, a list of secondary schools based on your address and selected medium will be displayed. Choose one school from the list, which will handle your exam application, internal assessment, practical/oral exams, grading, and other related activities.
Standard 12: Similarly, for Std. 12, a list of higher secondary schools or junior colleges will be displayed based on your address, medium, and branch (stream). Select one from the list for exam application and related activities.
Students with Disabilities: If you wish to sit the exams privately, you must submit a certified copy of your disability certificate issued by the District Surgeon of an authorised hospital, along with your UDID Card.
Maharashtra State Open School Board: Students who have completed Std. 5 or 8 through the Maharashtra State Open School Board can register as private students for Std. 10 by filling out Form No. 17.
Helpline: Contact the Helpline provided in the official notification if you encounter any issues during the online form completion.
Enrollment Certificate: Once eligible, you will receive an Enrollment Certificate online. Complete the examination forms within the prescribed period and pay the examination fee as directed.
