After a thorough evaluation of the law and order situation, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has collaborated with the State Administration and Government of Manipur to provide an examination centre for candidates from Manipur.

Exam Centre: Your Location to a New Beginning

NTA has offered 10 cities for the candidates of Manipur to conduct the NEET (UG), CUET (UG) and CUET (PG) in 2023. They will have the option to choose one of the cities listed below for the entrance exams:

  1. Aizawl (Mizoram) 
  2. Kohima/Dimapur (Nagaland)
  3. Shillong (Meghalaya)
  4. Guwahati (Assam) 
  5. Jorhat (Assam) 
  6. Silchar (Assam) 
  7. Kolkata (West Bengal) 
  8. Delhi 
  9. Bengaluru (Karnataka) 
  10. Imphal (Manipur)

Details of the exams provided by the NTA are as follows:

Who Can Avail the Exam City Option?

  • Candidates from Manipur who were not able to appear/missed the NEET (UG) - 2023 and CUET (UG) - 2023 due to the law-and-order situation have the opportunity to change their examination city. 
  • This option is available to all affected candidates, regardless of whether they had previously downloaded their admit cards for these exams.

How to Access the Exam City Option?

There are multiple methods through which candidates can access the Exam City option. They are as follows:

     1. Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS)

  • The Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) refers to an automated telephone system that incorporates pre-recorded messages or text-to-speech technology. It utilizes a dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) interface to interact with callers, enabling them to provide and retrieve information without the need for a live agent.
  • Candidates will be able to utilise the IVRS facility during the period of May 26, 2023 at 07:00 a.m. to May 30, 2023 at 07:00 p.m.
  • A message in this regard will be sent to each candidate on his/her mobile number registered with the online application form for the respective exam. 
  • The Candidates must use their registered Mobile Number to avail this facility through IVRS.

     2. City Coordinator

  • During the period of May 26th, 2023 at 07:00 a.m. to May 30, 2023 at 07:00 p.m., candidates can get in touch with the office of the relevant City Coordinator (Annexure 1) in the cities where they currently reside or wish to appear for the exams mentioned above. They can provide their preferred Exam City option along with the examination name and their registered application number to the respective office.

After the specified deadline, the City Coordinators of NTA will promptly submit a comprehensive list to the NTA. This list will include the details of candidates who have contacted or visited their office, including their application number, the name of the exam, and their preferred exam city.

     3. Contact NTA via Telephone numbers, SMS or E-mail

  • Candidates can reach out to the NTA for assistance through the provided telephone numbers: 011-40759000 and 011-69227700. These numbers will be operational from 07:00 a.m. on 26th May 2023 until 07:00 p.m. on 30th May 2023.
  • Additionally, candidates can send an SMS to the designated mobile number along with their Application Number, name of the examination and their preferred city for different cities.
  • Alternatively, candidates who have access to email can also send their city preference along with their Application Number and the name of the examination to the specified email addresses as shown below.

How to download the Admit card?

Upon receiving the preferred city change options from candidates through any of the above-mentioned modes, they will be assigned an exam center in their desired city. Subsequently, their Admit Cards will be issued online through the official exam portals of NTA as mentioned below:

Efforts will be made to notify the candidates via SMS on their registered mobile numbers to confirm the change of exam city and/or to download their Admit Cards from the respective exam portal mentioned above. Additionally, candidates who are unable to download their Admit Cards due to internet connectivity issues can collect them from the Help Centre at the Office of the respective City Coordinators of NTA. Alternatively, these Admit Cards will also be available for collection at the District Headquarters by the concerned candidates or their authorised representatives.
