CUET (UG) 2024 Exam Dates and Modes

The CUET (UG) – 2024 was conducted in both Hybrid (CBT and Pen & Paper) modes on the following dates:

  • Pen & Paper (Offline): May 15, 16, 17, 18, and 29, 2024
  • Computer Based Test (CBT): May 21, 22, 24, and 29, 2024

How to Challenge?

The process for challenging answer keys and OMR sheets differs depending on your exam mode. Here’s a detailed breakdown to guide you through each step:

For Computer Based Test (CBT):

  1. Visit the Website: Go to the CUET-UG NTA Exams website (https://nta.ac.in/Cuetexam).
  2. Login: Use your Application Number and Password or Date of Birth to access your account.
  3. Challenge Answer Key: Click the ‘View/Challenge Answer Key’ button.
  4. Select Questions: Identify the question(s) and corresponding option(s) you wish to challenge by ticking the checkbox.
  5. Supporting Documents (Optional): If necessary, upload supporting documents in a single PDF file.
  6. Review and Pay: Review your selections, then click "Save and Review Claims" and proceed to payment.

For Pen & Paper (Offline) Exam:

  1. Visit the Website: Go to the CUET-UG NTA Exams website (https://nta.ac.in/Cuetexam).
  2. Login: Use your Application Number and Date of Birth.
  3. View OMR Answer Sheet: Click the ‘view’ icon next to the subject you want to see.
  4. Challenge Answer Key: Click ‘Challenge Answer Key (OMR)’.
  5. Select Questions: Choose the question(s) for which you want to challenge the answer key.
  6. Supporting Documents (Optional): If necessary, upload supporting documents in a single PDF file.
  7. Review and Pay: Review your selections, then click "Save your Claim" and proceed to payment.

For OMR Answer Sheet Grading and Recorded Responses:

Step 1: Visit the Website: Go to CUET-UG NTA Exams.

Step 2: Login: Use your Application Number and Date of Birth, enter your Security PIN as displayed, and submit.

Step 3: Select the “OMR Challenge” in the left pane. Click on the OMR Challenge Link.

Step 4: Select the Questions: You will see the Question Numbers of the Subject for which you want to challenge the OMR Grading.

Step 5: Select the Question(s) to Challenge: Choose the Question(s) for which you wish to challenge the Recorded Response.

Step 6: Review Captured Responses: The number next to the Question under the column ‘Captured Response as per OMR Sheet’ stands for the option opted by the Candidates in the OMR Answer Sheets.

Step 7: Make Your Claim: Once you select any Question for Challenge, you will see three options under the column ‘Candidate’s Claim’.

Step 8: Submit Your Claim: If you wish to challenge this option, you may use the Options given in the ‘Candidate’s Claim’ column.

Step 9: Finalise Your Claim: After clicking your desired option, for your Subject for CUET (UG) 2024, scroll down, ‘Submit’, and move to the next screen.

Step 10: Review Challenges: You will see a screen displaying your challenges.

Step 11: Pay the Processing Fee: Click on ‘Submit' and pay the processing fee.

Step 12: Download Receipt: After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt.

CUET (UG) 2024 Challenge Payment Details

  • Processing Fee: ₹200 per question/answer key/OMR challenge (non-refundable).
  • Payment Modes: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking.
  • Payment Deadline: July 9, 2024 (up to 6:00 PM).

Additional Information for CUET (UG) 2024 Candidates

  • Payment Methods: The processing fee can be paid via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking up to July 9, 2024 (6:00 PM).
  • Challenge Acceptance: No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee, and challenges will not be accepted through any other medium.
  • Verification by Experts: Challenges made by candidates will be verified by a panel of subject experts. If a candidate's challenge is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied to all candidates' responses accordingly. The final key decided by the experts will be final, and no further challenges will be accepted after July 9, 2024 (5:00 PM).
  • Notification: Candidates will not be individually informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of their challenges. Accepted challenges will be applicable to all candidates who attempted the corresponding question.
  • Email Grievances: If you can’t view your OMR/Recorded responses, email [email protected] with your Application Number, Candidate Name, Subject Code, and Subject Name by 5:00 PM on July 9, 2024.
  • Public Grievances: The NTA is addressing public grievances received regarding the CUET (UG) 2024 Exam up to June 30, 2024. Genuine grievances may result in a re-exam between July 15 to 19, 2024, in CBT mode only. Admit cards will be issued for this re-exam.
