Hey there, future university students!
We’ve got some important news about the CUET (UG) 2024 exams.
If you’re one of the candidates affected by the recent challenges, read on for all the details you need about the upcoming retest.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the exams across various cities worldwide in hybrid mode (CBT and Pen & Paper) on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29, 2024. This extensive testing spanned 379 cities, including 26 cities outside India, and accommodated approximately 1.348 million candidates.
During the initial CUET (UG) – 2024 exams, various issues were reported by the candidates. These included technical glitches, discrepancies in question papers, and other unexpected challenges that affected the test-taking experience.
After thoroughly reviewing all grievances and complaints received up to June 30, 2024, and further issues raised between July 7 and July 9, 2024, the decision was made to conduct a retest for those impacted.
This step is essential to ensure that every candidate has an equal opportunity to perform their best without any undue hindrance.
The NTA has reviewed all grievances submitted up to June 30, 2024, and the complaints sent between July 7 and July 9, 2024. If you’re one of the affected candidates, you should have received an email with your subject codes.
